Hi! I'm Pratika. I write for B2B SaaS and enterprise technology brands with a journalist's spine, a writer's head, and a strategist's eye for what makes readers convert. Thanks for visiting my portfolio.
I've proudly grown as a human and professional with brands like:

I partner with enterprise technology and B2B HR SaaS companies like Lattice, PowerToFly and AIHR to create long-form content that snags conversions and top spots on the SERPs.
I don't always get to see the numbers, but when I do, they look like this:
179 demos and 5,000 visits from a single article, making it one of their most efficient conversion assets ever
27 demos and 30,000 visits on an article refresh
56 demos and 10,000 visits on an in-depth guide for first-time managers.

I start with the question: what can I give my readers that a quick AI query can't?I aim for my pieces to be the go-to guides, frameworks, or templates for the topic at hand, and the algorithm has rewarded me more than a few times. For Lattice, I crowdsourced over fifty ideas from people leaders, books, and scientific papers to put together this piece that's currently cited in Google's AI Overviews:

Many more of my articles are sitting at the top spot of the SERPs for competitive short-tail keywords. Please also see (from 2024):

Company blogs may have starkly different goals from magazines, but the software buyer reading your content also reads the local newspaper, has a favorite publication, and groans when they catch themselves doomscrolling X.My clients and I find that nuanced storytelling, thorough reporting, and balanced arguments do the best job of serving humans and bots alike. To this end, I aim to interview diverse subject matter experts and discuss HR topics while remaining sensitive to the cultural-political geography they inhabit.I've done this for some controversial topics, and I'm proud of these two:
Helpful content and high-converting content are not mutually exclusive categories. My piece Employee Engagement Holidays in 2026 is one of the highest converting assets on the Lattice website, ever.

I'll create rank-ready, conversion-optimized deep dives, pillar articles, and comprehensive guides for high-intent queries. My process includes in-depth research, tons of SME interviews, rigorous claim‑checking, and on‑page optimization based on up-to-the-minute AEO and SEO best practices.
I'll systematically audit existing content to find decay and intent gaps, then rebuild pages with current data, clearer structure, and verifiable sources. My clients typically see performance lifts in 45–90 days across rankings, qualified traffic, and conversions.
Search-optimized articles built around high-intent keywords, structured for both human readability and search performance. These pieces are thoroughly researched and editorially sharp, but skip the extensive expert interview process of my pillar content — making them faster to turn around and easier on the budget. Ideal for building out topical coverage at scale. For example:
AI drafts are fast. They're also generic, sometimes factually incorrect, and obvious to anyone who reads a lot of content. I take your AI-generated output and turn it into something publishable — fact-checked, editorially tightened, properly cited, and written in a voice that sounds like your brand. Faster than starting from scratch, better than publishing as-is.
I am fortunate to have worked with some of the finest people I've ever met. Here are some of the nice things my clients have to say about our work together:

Halah Flynn
Pratika brings a strategic eye to her coverage that results in comprehensive, inclusive, SEO-driven storytelling to support our diverse audience and their needs. Her creativity shines in every draft: she brings humor and light while balancing authoritative research and complicated technical HR topics with care. The business impact speaks for itself. Her work has resulted in:
Increased SERP rankings on every article she's optimized for us.
Better traffic and conversions on new and updated articles, some of our highest-converting content!

Liv McConnell
I've had the pleasure of editing Pratika's work at PowerToFly — where she writes regularly on workplace DEIB topics and is one of my top, most trusted freelancers. I can't recommend her enough! Pratika is communicative, organized, and professional, and her writing is precise, well-researched, and adaptive across a number of tones. From brand messaging and marketing copy to authoritative, SEO-geared blogs that are backed by her journalistic chops, the quality of her work is extremely reliable and appreciated!

Robin Dhanwani
Pratika is one of the few content writers who just get it. What I really like is she has an analytical approach to writing which focuses on business outcomes instead of just being creative. She gets the bigger picture and produces content that aligns with overall strategy and objectives. Her expertise, work ethic, and commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to any team.

Sarah Colson
Pratika always met deadlines, was incredibly responsive, and brought a professional attitude to projects. Her ability to turn an (often jumbled) interview into a cohesive, thoughtful, and organized story made her a go-to contributor on our team. In fact, I was so impressed by her work that I flagged full-time opportunities at PowerToFly for her. She's that good.

Before content marketing, I was an indie journalist.
I spent a decade writing about culture and design for publications like Elle, Vice, and Huffington Post. My work took me to lots of places: from drag shows in Kolkata, to the sprawling fields of rural Punjab. I still source, interview, and write like I can hear my old boss barking "Why the hell should I care about this???!!!?" or "Can you prove this?" in my ears.My favorite beat was design — specifically, where it collides with culture and politics in India.I taught myself direct response copywriting along the way, and although I never went down that path, the obsession with persuasion science, behavioral economics, consumer psychology, and UX stuck. All these interests converge in what I do now — and they're a big part of why the work converts.
I'm currently taking on freelance and fractional work in HR tech and adjacent B2B SaaS. If any of the above sounds useful, please reach out at [email protected], or connect with me on LinkedIn!
